Financial Controller - Runcorn, United Kingdom - Simpson Judge Ltd
Description
Responsibilities:
- Preparation of the monthly management accounts, including reconciliation of all balance sheet accounts, Group reporting and the preparation of the Board report
- Management of sales ledger, purchase ledger and payroll functions
- Preparation of financial data for budgeting, forecasting and strategy purposes
- Responsible for company tax compliance
- Supervision of internal and external audits
- Preparation of statutory accounts and yearend Group reporting
- Ownership of the Group reporting, ensuring compliance with company requirements
- Proactively contributing to other departments in terms of the general day to day management of the business
Requirements:
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified ideally from a practice/audit background
- Manufacturing experience is essential
- Cost control and profit maximisation experience is key
- Strong Excel skills
- Experience of implementing an ERP system would be beneficial
