Are you looking for a role where you can make a positive difference?
We're looking for 2 Revenue Officers to join our team, within Adult Social Care Financial Services.


The Adult Social Care Revenue Team support people to pay their client contribution towards the cost of their care, recover revenue and assist with debt resolution.


We work closely with customers to ensure they receive appropriate support to maximise their income; review financial assessments to ensure client contributions are affordable and assess the affordability of payment plans to address debt.


We provide support to meet customer's individual needs, so excellent customer service skills are a must, along with an understanding of challenges our customers may face and knowledge of money advice services and budgeting skills.


You'll be a key part of the team, responsible for meeting with clients who are not paying their regular client contribution or cannot afford the charge.

You will carry out assessments to identify financial hardship and discuss the most appropriate way for the client contribution to be paid and to recover any debt that has accrued.


As line manager to the Revenue Support Officer, you will provide effective supervision and support, alongside managing your own caseload.


You will need the flexibility to work from our office in Eastbourne, from home and make visits to clients living across the county.

You will need to be able to demonstrate how you will meet the travel requirements of the role.

Knowledge of working with computers including Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office is required. You'll work on a number of bespoke database systems for which you will receive full training and ongoing support.

Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is part-time or term-time only.
