WHAT TO EXPECT
We have a great role available to work alongside our team in Press Shop Tool in the West Midlands.

You'll be working on newly introduced tooling for new models being commissioned into production and optimising, current tooling activities including Corrective, Preventative maintenance, Engineering Changes, and Quality Improvements and 'Try out' activities in the press lines, and supporting production teams across the shop, including the Blanking line.

The role offers a flexible and multi-disciplined environment that will allow you to work closely with Production and Quality team to identify the root cause and offer the solution.

Please note the role requires to work on shifts so flexibility will be essential.

WHAT YOU'LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR

Carrying out scheduled Preventative Maintenance activities
Supporting and driving performance on all press and blanking lines die related.
Working as an individual and part of a team addressing die repair and reconditioning activities.
Engineering change activities and die modifications.
Problem solving and route cause analysis for reliability and quality requirements.
Die movements using overhead cranes with die weights of up to 55T.
Flexibility to undertake work as directed by their line manager in support of other areas.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

Experience in press tool maintenance
Indentured / modern apprenticeship or minimum level 3 qualification with relative experience in toolmaking.
Worked in a Press Tool manufacturing / maintenance environment.
Team player with a cando attitude.
Flexibility to work on shifts and weekend.
