Sales Representative


LOCATION:
Larbert


REPORTING TO:
Managing Director


HOURS OF WORK:
Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm (40 hours per week)

WHO WE ARE:

OilMaxx is the sister company of Oilfast, the fastest growing fuel distributor in Scotland. In 9 years, we have grown to a level where we have 9 depots across Scotland, England and Wales.

We run a large fleet of tankers and flatbeds delivering kerosene, HVO, red & white diesels, lubricants, licenced AdBlue, LPG and bunded fuel tanks out of these depots.

We deliver to a range of domestic, agricultural, commercial, industrial, and marine customers.


We also have a fast-growing fuel card division, Fleetmaxx Solutions, allowing our customers to draw fuel from a vast network of sites across the country.

We are a very ambitious company with a great team, full of experience and enthusiasm.

We are looking for a sales representative, preferably with experience in the fuel distribution industry, to join our OilMaxx team at Larbert.


ROLE SUMMARY:

You will be responsible for developing long-term relationships with customers and overseeing sales.

As sales representative, you will work to satisfy customers' needs and requests, respond to their queries in a timely manner and aspire to deliver a positive customer experience.

You should have excellent communication and negotiation skills and be customer service oriented. Ultimately, you should be able to grow our business by building successful, long-term client relationships.

We offer a competitive basic salary plus bonus scheme.


RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Develop positive relationships with clients
  • Act as the point of contact and handle customers' individual needs
  • Generate new business using existing and potential customer networks
  • Resolve conflicts and provide solutions to customers in a timely manner
  • Report on the status of accounts and transactions
  • Set and track sales account targets, aligned with company objectives
  • Monitor sales metrics (e.g. quarterly sales results and annual forecasts)
  • Suggest actions to improve sales performance and identify opportunities for growth
  • Network with our depots to arrange deliveries.

REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS:


  • Proven experience as a sales representative, preferably within the fuel distribution industry
  • Hands on experience in sales and the ability to deliver excellent customer experience
  • Knowledge of CRM software and MS Office (MS Excel in particular)
  • Understanding of sales performance metrics
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • An ability to deliver projects and answer inquiries on time
  • Business acumen with a problemsolving attitude.
