The Opportunity


As a member of the HR Business Support Team, your primary responsibility will be to provide administrative HR services that are in line with the company's objectives and priorities.

This entails overseeing the recruitment and selection process, managing employee onboarding and offboarding, overseeing training and development, handling employee performance management, and managing employee relations.

Additionally, you will have the opportunity to assist our directors and management team with general administrative duties.

We are currently seeking a HR Administrator to join our team, and this is a temporary to permanent position, covering maternity leave, with flexible working arrangements available at our office.


Key responsibilities include

Responsibilities:


  • To be the initial 'point of contact' ( go to person) for HR related queries
  • To be the administrator for the Bamboo HR System to ensure that it is kept up to date at all times
  • To oversee the recruitment process on Bamboo to ensure the service provided is efficient and effective as well as acting as a central point for all correspondence with external agencies
  • To assist with the drafting of offer letters and contracts of employment for new starters and ensure their return
  • To take up references; right to work checks and continued compliance
  • To oversee the onboarding process for new starters as well as granting access
  • Set up new employees on to the employee wellbeing portal
  • Lifeworks and help with the organisation and administration of other wellbeing initiatives
  • To assist with the confirmation of appointments in writing following successful completion of probationary period
  • To conduct exit interviews for all leavers
  • To oversee the offboarding process for all leavers
  • To oversee holiday balances on Bamboo and making the necessary adjustments for those who start/leave part way through the year. Annually update holiday balances for all employees
  • To arrange internal and external training courses as requested
  • To assist with salary review and bonus processes ensuring that any changes are recorded on Bamboo
  • To collate monthly payroll changes and ensure all changes are updated on to Bamboo
  • Assist with the administration of the group benefit schemes
  • Medical Insurance, Group Life Insurance and Pension
  • To contribute to the development and review of policies, processes and procedures
  • To assist in other HR activities/projects as requested

Skills, Qualifications and Experience Required:

  • A strong administrator with excellent organisational and planning skills
  • CIPD qualified or working towards
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role
  • Knowledge of employment law
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels within the organisation with a flexible approach
  • Ability to prioritise and work to strict deadlines
  • Able to work proactively with mínimal supervision and use own initiative
  • Intermediate to advanced level MS Office, Word and Excel skills.
  • Knowledge and use of HRIS ideally Bamboo
  • Accurate and methodical with good attention to detail and produces work appropriate to client needs.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and integrity
