Female Personal Assistant/Support Worker (EQUALITY ACT 2010 SCHEDULE 9, PART 1 APPLIES)

About me

  • The Direct Payment (DP) Holder is a 9 year' old girl with autism who loves to keep busy.
    Hours and rate of pay
  • 3 hours per week term time and 6 hours per during school holidays. These hours will be spread out and organised between parent and PA.Midweek in school holidays and Saturdays in term time
The post will include 5.6 weeks paid annual leave (pro-rata)

£13.85 per hour


Location

  • Hemel Hempstead HP3
    DBS/Checks
  • Confirmation of DBS checkRight to Work and references will be needed.

Training

  • Mandatory training for Personal Assistants_
  • Safeguarding Children
  • Introduction to first aid
  • Health and Safety

What you would be doing

  • The PA will be required to take the DP holder out into the community to do activities which include swimming, cinema, zoo and parks.
Support with cooking, crafts ie making slime

The PA will be required to drive with own car with business insurance and clean driving license.


The person I would like

  • Needs to have patience and good spoken English.
We are looking for someone who is kind, confident, calm and enjoys activities.

Experience in sensory preferred.
