Warehouse Supervisor


An opportunity to work for an established specialist design, manufacturing and fitting business with over 30 years of experience and a dedicated and enthusiastic specialist team of craftsmen and fabricators.


As Warehouse Supervisor, you will report into the Operations Director and lead a team of 7 to ensure that quantity, quality and delivery targets are achieved.

This will involve working within set timescales to meet customer demand.


Responsibilities:


  • Manage resources, both people and equipment, to achieve warehouse targets and output, quality, and ontime delivery of products on a daily basis.
  • Decide best method of working for warehouse processes to facilitate productivity improvements.
  • Make sure all despatch is correct according to the paperwork.
  • Manage on a daytoday basis any employee issues, including discipline, absence, attitude, housekeeping, motivation, and morale.
  • Manage stock levels to ensure we can carry out the tasks.
  • Ensure the requirements of the Company Health and Safety Policy are achieved.
  • Continue development of a team culture and achievement of individual / team goals and objectives.
  • Progress / chasing orders with the office team.
  • Ensure the effective and efficient use of resources in liaison with other team members.
  • Drive a philosophy of continuous improvement.
  • In liaison with the Management team, help manage the training programme as required.
  • Support the team by carrying out day to day handson duties as appropriate.
  • Completion of administration processes.
  • Always remain positive in the warehouse area in front of the team.

Requirements:


  • Previous experience of a warehouse / workshop environment.
  • Previous experience of warehousing as a team leader / manager is required.
  • Customer service background.
  • Confident communicator.
  • Analytical, organisation and problem solving skills.
  • Time management.
  • Stock control.
  • Team player.
£32,000 annual salary + benefits.

Based near Malvern.

Monday to Friday 8am to 4pm (1 hour lunch to finish at 3pm).
