Description

1:1 Teaching Assistant

We are working with a Primary School that is based in Cheltenham, who needs a full time SEN Teaching Assistant to support a Year 1 student 1:1.

The child needs social and emotional support throughout their learning, and this will mainly involve child led play.

The child can be very prone to running off around the school and so some of the role will consist of following the child to ensure they are safe where they are going.

This role will run from Monday to Friday and will be 8:30-3:30.

The school is lovely and is on the outskirts of Cheltenham.

The school consistently manages to achieve an Ofsted rating of 'good', and is highly praised on its curriculum and high standards that they have for their students.

The school would love for someone to join them who is a real team player and can engage with the role from when they come in.

Due to the SEN nature of the role, the school does need someone who has worked with SEN in some capacity before, however Teaching Assistant experience is not essential.
