Senior Network Engineer

Permanent

Eames Consulting are currently looking for a Senior Network Engineer to join a well known Insurance Company to join them in a permanent role.

The Senior Network Engineer will have previous experience in design, build, implement, monitor and maintain moderatelycomplex as well as complex network systems.

Key Responsibilties:

Proactively operate, maintain, and monitor the network infrastructure globally, delivering "network as a service" to each business unit
Incident Management technical resolution for all network incidents including troubleshooting of complex outages and required corrective actions. Supporting the team with any stakeholder communications during such events. All Incidents and requests meetrequired OLA's.
Change Management ensure all network changes are undertaken in line with the internal change management processes, following change management processes.
Problem Management management of Problem management activities ensuring that all open problem records are regularly updated and reported on through to closure.
Support product life cycle management activities across the network portfolio
Act as a technical mentor to more junior member of the team, directing as appropriate on policies and procedures, technical problems, priorities, and methods
Champion and adhere to standards and operating procedures to ensure quality and productivity with the network portfolio
Champion and adhere with installation and configuration documents and other reference guides as needed
Actively participate and engage on network engineering design and design governance
Identify and correct network noncompliance issues
Work closely with other Network Engineers to plan and complete assigned tasks within deadlines
Ensure that the network infrastructure is fully documented and performing as required for internal and customer SLA guarantees and expectations by means of specific metrics and measurements
Work with the Global Head of Network Services with the identification and recommendation on costeffective technology solutions.
Support the Principal Network Engineer and/or Global Head of Network Services as required with technical investment planning, including budget preparation and timeline determination.
