To manage all admissions for cytotoxic chemotherapy through the Eden Day Unit and Eden wardTo provide comprehensive organisational and administrative support to the
Eden Day Unit and the chemotherapy service.
To ensure the smooth day to day operational management of the chemotherapy
admission department
To plan strategically the capacity of the chemotherapy admissions list and the
capacity of the nurse led pre - assessment clinic in conjunction with the Lead
Chemotherapy Nurse
To be responsible for scheduling chemotherapy lists to fully utilise resources to
maintain financial balance.
- To be responsible for contacting patients to inform them of a date for
/ consultants and contentious issues such as beds not available or breach
issues.
