The Company Overview:

Butler rose are partnered with a very prestigious company based in Salford in their search for an Interim Management Accountant.

This contract will last for up to 12 months. It will be an incredibly varied position, giving you exposure to all the differentbusiness units within the Finance department. You will offer ad-hoc support to the various business units as & when required. It is a busy time for them as they're currently going through year end.

Your new role as Interim Management Accountant:

Your duties will include:
Year End support

Month End reporting including Balance Sheet control and P&L analysis

Production of Management Accounts

Communicating the story behind the numbers to a range of non-Finance Stakeholders to allow them to make quality, informed decisions

Working closely with the Finance Business Partners

Supporting & mentoring junior members of staff

Identifying areas for process improvement that enhance controls, reduce manual intervention & drive departmental efficiencies, then following them through to implementation stage

The Experience & Qualifications Required:

Ideally a Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)

High attention to detail

Strong Excel skills

Sound Technical Accounting expertise

IFRS 16 / 15 exposure would be a bonus

Effective verbal & written communication style as well as good organisational skills

Pay rate:

As Interim Management Accountant, you shall receive

Pay rate negotiable depending on experience and your chosen payment method

Hybrid & flexible working (1-2 days in the office)
