This role is a full-time position in the NHS in a Durham CMHT service; it offers highly negotiable rates for a dedicated psychiatrist.

The trust is seeking an enthusiastic Consultant in Old Age Psychiatry to work from Monday to Friday. Your core responsibilities would be to help assess, diagnose, and oversee the mental health of patients in your care.


The postholder will be working on the over 65 functional disorders inpatient unit, working alongside associate nurse consultant, physician associate and core trainee.

This position is a full-time role of 37.5 hours per week

From 29/01/2024 to 29/04/2024.

Skills:


  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills

Requirements:


  • You must have a full GMC licence to practice
  • Relevant previous experience working in this type of position
  • Section 12 approval is essential
  • Approved clinician status is essential
  • Experience as an MHSOP consultant preferred
