Description

SAFE-door industries Limited, based in Brampton near Carlisle Cumbria, lead the field in the development of special purpose, acoustic and temperature controlled cold storage doors.

Working in our busy Finishing & Joinery Workshops you will work on the joinery and assembly of our range of industrial door products.

These include high performance sound proof doors and high performance temperature control doors.

Key Tasks:

Measuring and marking wood according to drawing specifications.
Work from drawings to manufacture bespoke doors.
Manufacture and assembly of products within the workshop environment.
Comprise accurate cutting lists.
Set out, machine and assemble bespoke joinery items.
Accurate record keeping.

Qualifications/Experience:

Proficient on machinery and the use of hand tools
Ability to work on own initiative from technical drawings.
A reliable, health and safety conscious, passionate individual who is able to work in a fastpaced environment.
Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
Experience in a similar role.

Our customers include subscription TV providers for their studio access doors and high street supermarkets for their cold store access doors in their distribution centres.

Our working week is 39 hours over five days with some flexibility over start and finishing times.
