We're seeking a future team member in the role of
Associate - Control , to join our Global Asset Safety team.

This role is located in Manchester, Hybrid.


What we do:


The Global Asset Safety Team (GAS) team assists the Senior Manager performing the Global Client Asset Safety Oversight function to oversee the operational effectiveness of BNYM's systems and controls that are designed to achieve compliance with the FCA CASS rules, and global asset safety policies.


In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:

  • Schedule meetings, prepare agendas, reports, presentation materials and minutes to global asset safety-related governance committees and forums.
  • Independently completes a wide range of administrative duties in support of the wider team.
  • Performs advanced, diversified and sometimes confidential administrative duties requiring broad and comprehensive experience, skill and knowledge of organizational policies and procedures, escalating where appropriate. Engage with other regional and functional regulatory and management reporting teams.

To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:

  • Solid organisational skills with attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and therefore, manage priorities, establish, and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • High school/secondary school or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Team player, with the ability to work independently at times, and to work across diverse regional and functional teams.
  • Strong PC skills, proficient knowledge of relevant business software (Microsoft Office Suite).
  • Knowledge of the FCA Client Asset Sourcebook (CASS) regulations and an understanding of the regulatory reporting environment an advantage.
