Technician - Electrical or Mechanical Bias

Salary:
£33,000 - £35,000

Location:
Keighley, Shipley, Bradford and Leeds

Hours:
Rotating Shift


Grafton Recruitment are delighted to be working alongside a market leading, global company who specialise in the full manufacturing process of bespoke systems and components.

Our client is proud to be at the forefront of innovation and sustainability andlooking to recruit like-minded individuals focused on career development.


Due to continued growth, this company are looking to strengthen and expand its maintenance department and as such are now looking to add an experienced Technician to their established workforce.


The Role:


  • You will be expected to be reactive to any unexpected issues arising on site which could affect the manufacturing process.
  • Work collaboratively with the maintenance department to reduce workloads and deliver on KPI's
  • Liaise with the production department to schedule planned maintenance and fit new parts
  • Ensuring preventative maintenance is carried out to reduce the chance of any machine breakdowns and impact on the production team
  • Attend team briefings to review and discuss workloads in order to allow all team members to work collectively in ensuring the smooth running of the production floor.

You will need:


  • Faultfinding with AC/DC and Servo Drive experience
  • A time served apprenticeship within engineering coupled with the relevant certificate from that governing body
  • An enhanced understanding of maintenance procedures
  • The ability to expedite work and communicate effectively with the team
  • To be able to manage high workloads and organise your time effectively
  • Two years' experience within a manufacturing or maintenance department
