Variable Hours |Temporary | £ £15.90 Hourly RateAn exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and highly motivated individual to join the College.
You must have:
- Relevant assessors qualification,
- Current knowledge of the Education and Early years Tlevel
- Recent experience of assessing
- Be able to organise, monitor and assess education and early years students
- Demonstrate high academic standards in training, assessment and in the preparation and use of learning resources to meet a range of learner needs.
- Full driving licence
- Desirable, IQA qualifications
Your main responsibilities:
- Carry out a range of observations to support the learners in achieving their required outcomes
- Provide robust learner plans and progression information. including progress reviews
- Liaise closely with students, curriculum delivery areas and employers and have a key role in developing students to achieve their learning goals
- Develop students' knowledge of planning, implementation and professional discussions inline with required outcomes.
- To support, train and guide learners and develop their personal and professional attitudes, skills and abilities with responsibility to ensure successful completion of qualifications.
- Develop relationships with the employers
- Maintaining high standards of assessment and adhering to the quality assurance process.
- To liaise and share good practice with peer Assessors, Internal Quality Advisors and to attend regular Progress and Standardisation meetings.
- Produce reports as required by the needs of the department.
