Leo's Den is a 64 capacity nursery school close just off Great Dover Street and within walking distance of London Bridge and Borough stations.

The nursery has been open for 13 years and has 4 classroom areas and 2 gardens/terraces over 3 floors.

We are looking for a General Assistant to strengthen our staffing team and add flexibility.

Your duties will include the following:

Doing general cleaning within the nursery and its outside areas throughout the day, and part of the evening cleaning before the nursery closes.
Helping with the meal and snack service, including cleaning the dishes and kitchen afterwards.
Generally helping where needed within the nursery, including with the children occasionally.
Receiving deliveries and putting them into the correct storage areas.

We are open from 7.45am to 6.30pm, Monday to Friday, and for this role we are looking for a part time staff member to work from 9 or 9.30am to 2pm.

If you are looking for a long term career in early years education, this role can also be used a stepping stone to that, and we do offer early years apprenticeships including access to qualifications.
