Reporting to the Cargo Duty Manager, you are tasked with ensuring that the MCT Cargo build and breakdown programme remains compliant to all service levels, safety, and compliance.

You will ensure that all labour assigned to the build and breakdown operation is organised against workload, moving available resources around to ensure all deliverables are met and exceeded.

You will be responsible for forwarding the plan with the export build programme to ensure optimisation of ULDs, and plan all freighter build up.

Providing coaching and mentoring to staff in all warehouse operations and cargo build up guidance.

  • Manage and organise all assigned labour for export build and import breakdown and ensure SLA targets are met.
  • Plan MCT export freighter build programme ensuring all builds are optimised, contour and compliance standards are met to MCT standards.
  • Supervise line flight build programme, ensuring optimization of ULDs.
  • Forward planning of advance buildup, ensuring all export floor space is kept at a premium and cargo that can be prebuilt is.
  • Oversee flight load out, in line with Cargo Duty Manager, ensuing all local operating procedures are adhered on ULD quality checks.
  • Support to the Cargo Duty Manager/Training Department with any onthejob training if required.
  • Promote and drive Menzies Aviation safety culture in line with company standards.
  • Drive performance and information to customer on in all aspects of the operations performance
  • Work with the customer and internal operations teams in driving to deliver SLA performance.
  • Ensure timely response to customers, either directly or commitment from the department
  • Any other duties as instructed by your line manager.

Qualifications and Experience

  • 3+ years in a supervisor role
  • 8+ years, in warehouse handling.
  • Forklift licence.
  • Freighter build experience.
  • Proven track record of delivery against KPIs and SLA's
  • Must be able to work under pressure.
  • Good customer service and organisational skills.
  • Computer literate in Microsoft Word and Excel as a minimum.
