We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Teaching Assistant to join our team at a highly reputable school in Morpeth, Northumberland.

As an Early Years Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the Early Years Teacher to provide high-quality education to children aged 3 to 5 years old, ensuring that they receive the best possible start in life.

Responsibilities:

Assist the Early Years Teacher in planning and delivering engaging and stimulating lessons in accordance with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
Work with individual children and small groups to support their learning and development, including playbased activities, reading, and creative tasks.
Assist with the assessment of children's progress and provide regular feedback to parents and carers, including written reports and parentteacher meetings.
Work closely with other members of the school team, including the Early Years Teacher and other Teaching Assistants, to ensure that all children receive the support and guidance they need.
Contribute to maintaining a safe and stimulating learning environment, ensuring that all equipment and resources are appropriate for the age and ability of the children.
Attend regular training and professional development sessions to keep uptodate with the latest teaching methods and best practice.

Requirements:

A relevant qualification, such as a Level 2 or 3 Diploma in Childcare and Education, Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
Experience of working in an Early Years setting, with a good understanding of the EYFS curriculum.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
A passion for Early Years education and a commitment to ensuring that every child reaches their full potential.
A positive and enthusiastic approach to teaching, with a willingness to go above and beyond to support children's learning and development.
