Description

Our client - a leading, global publishing house is seeking a FUNCTIONAL CONSULTANT to work on subscriptions for services from a varied, global customer base.

This role will ideally suit someone with experience of OTC on SAP either or both ECC6 S4 HANA


The Functional Consultant will work closely with the Global Process Lead (GPL), who is responsible for business process strategy, design, governance and performance.

They will support the GPL by identifying business requirements and shaping the design forthe technology solution in line with best practice, taking care to ensure there is no unintended impact to downstream systems.


Duties will include:

  • Responsible for partnering with Global Process Leads to provide effective technology consultancy services whilst establishing and building a strong collaborative relationship based on trust.
  • Responsible for establishing and maintaining a full set of technical documentation.
  • Responsible for the operational performance of the technology services underpinning the business process.
  • Responsible for the production of highlevel solution designs and working with 3rd parties to ensure that detailed designs are fit for purpose and on track to meet the expected technical and business outcomes.
Hybrid working policy that requires a minimum of 2 days per week in the Oxford office.


ABOUT YOU

You will have the following:

  • Deep domain knowledge and experience with an excellent understanding of SAP ERP with knowledge of Order to Cash (OTC) along with a broad understanding of one of more associated functional areas.
  • Experience of working on projects with knowledge of OTC and various sales models including subscriptions with responsibility for successful delivery.
  • Experience of working in crossfunctional teams in a global environment with multiple stakeholders.
  • Experience working with ECC & S4 Hana and ideally SAP Certification.
