Description

Responsible for day-to-day audits of the Patient Environment, Patient Catering, and Food Safety in all food retail outlets, ward food service, and outpatient departments.


Monitoring and reporting of Estates and Facilities Management services to ensure continuous high quality service standards are developed and maintained.

The main duties of the job, is the following;

  • To act independently to undertake daily audits of Facilities and Estates services across our five hospital sites.
  • Reporting daily non compliance of guidance and legislation.
  • Working with colleagues to make positive improvements where required and collate information to feed into monthly reports
  • Responsible for the collation of mandatory data as directed by NHSI including PLACE, PAM and Estates Return Information Collection (ERIC).
  • Undertake a programme of scheduled and ad hoc audits of Estates and Facilities Servicesacross all 5 sites.
  • Act as the daytoday point of contact for issues relating to Estates and Facilities service standards.
  • Resolving straightforward issues and refers matters with serious implications to the General Manager, Facilities Management.
  • Produce reports on the Estates and Facilities Services performance and where appropriate feed into action plans to improve, shape and inform the service making recommendations where necessary
  • Ensure reports from the Trust's and local authority Environmental Health Officer are acted upon by the relevant Estates and Facilities Services, Clinical leads and other internal charitable organisations
