TRAINEE KITCHEN AND BATHROOM SALES DESIGNER [NEWARK]

We currently have an exciting full-time opportunity for both an experienced
Kitchen & Bathroom Sales Designer and a
Trainee Kitchen & Bathroom Sales Designer based at our Newark Showroom
.


We are looking for outgoing, enthusiastic, and confident individuals to work as part of a team and under their own initiative.


Your key responsibilities will include:


  • Liaising with prospective and existing trade & retail clients at the showroom, via the telephone or other media channels.
  • Producing quotes using our Quoting system to meet customers' budgets, design requirements and time constraints.
  • Assisting customers by visiting them in their homes or onsite to measure and gather relevant information.
  • Assisting customers by producing 3D designs.
  • Conducting post homesurvey presentations of designs and quotation.
  • Liaising with our Customer Service and After-Sales administration team

We are looking for someone with:


  • A proven track record of kitchen and or bathroom design
    (not required for the trainee role)
:


  • Experience of Planit Fusion 2020 and Virtual Worlds; this would be an advantage but not essential;
    no experience on these systems is expected for the trainee role
:


  • A flair for design; formal qualification in interior design or similar.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a desire to provide first class customer service
  • A commitment to provide high levels of accuracy and timeliness.
  • Ability to form positive relationships with colleagues.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to use own initiative.

Both roles are fulltime:

hours of work will be 8:00am to 5:00pm Monday to Friday (with 1 hour for lunch) and 8:00am-12:30pm every Saturday (with 1⁄2 day off in lieu).
