An exciting opportunity has arisen to be a part of something special.

The Major Trauma Centre (MTC) based in the University Hospital of Wales, Cardiff, is part of the development of the Major Trauma Network for South, West and Mid Wales which is designed to ensure seriously injured patients receive appropriate and timely care.

We are developing a highly skilled network of staff to join the team and transform care and outcomes for our patients and you could be part of this.

We are looking to recruit a locum Plastic & Reconstructive Surgeon, to join the existing team of 4 permanent Consultants, working split site providing resident plastic surgical major trauma cover in the MTC from 08:00 20:00, Monday to Friday and the major trauma reconstructive service in Morriston Hospital.

There will also be the opportunity to undertake elective practice in Head and Neck Surgery and participate in the plastic surgery on call rota in Swansea Bay Health Board.
