Salary:
£28,000 - £32,000 depending on experience (pro-rata if part time)

Hours:35 hours per week (part time applicants may be considered)

Responsible to:
Finance Manager

Accountable to:
Director of Resources

This role is responsible for providing financial management support to Age UK Hillingdon Harrow and Brent within the existing small, and busy, team

Key responsibilities will include:

Bank and Cash Management
Sales and Purchase Ledger
Payroll
VAT and Gift Aid returns

The team use the Xero accounting system but training can be provided on this and other systems used as part of your professional development.

The role would suit a person who has experience of working in a finance department and either has a finance qualification (AAT or similar) or who is equally qualified through experience.

We are a flexible organisation and welcome someone who can be flexible to the changing demands of the financial year.

You would work side by side with another Finance Officer and would be expected to share the tasks, working as a team and to cover each other's holidays.
