(12-month Internship)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Providing general administrative support to the IM Team Responding to media requests for samples, information and press releases in a timely manner Distributing press cuttings and support IM team on coverage analysis as required Compiling and distributing the IM monthly reports for selected brands Ordering and maintaining stock levels for brands Maintaining and updating master media lists and influencer lists Organising and implementing press mailings Assisting the IM Team in the organisation of events and product launches; Assisting IM Manager on managing influencer content activation on selected brands Creation of tactical press releases as requested Replenishing and managing press releases and PR assets in files Creating and managing POs using Ariba system Supporting IM manager in setting up new vendors Monitor competitor activities and share with IM team as required Maintaining and updating of Coty UK PR Instagram pages - sharing role and responsibilities with all IM assistants

YOU HAVE Currently studying for a degree in either Public Relations or media communications preferred Previous PR work experience is preferred but not essential, however the ability to understand the key elements of the role is essential as well as an interest in pursuing a career in PR/Communications Excellent knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Excellent organization and prioritising skills Ability to work effectively to deadlines Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to build strong working relationships Experience of working effectively in a team High levels of accuracy and attention to detail Demonstrate an interest and awareness in social media activities Enthusiasm, energy, tenacity, commitment, a pro-active approach to work
