Description

The Lecturer in Foundation (0.6 FTE, permanent) will teach into the Graphic Design/Illustration provision within the Foundation Diploma in Art & Design, based in the Department of Art & Performance.

About the role

Do you have experience of teaching on a Foundation Course in Art & Design?
Do you have an awareness of the Level 3 programme delivery and the specific needs of these students?
Do you have a good first degree and a relevant MA in Illustration or similar specialism (or equivalent practical experience as an Illustrator)?
Can you teach illustration and printmaking, bringing knowledge of recent developments in the discipline and current professional practitioners?
Are you able to work flexibly in various teaching environments including workshops, lectures, briefings, onetoone tutorials and coteaching?
