Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

Operate excavators and other heavy machinery safely and efficiently.
Perform routine maintenance checks and ensure that machinery is in good working condition.
Excavate and grade land according to project specifications.
Foundation works including concrete pours.
All aspects of drainage, installing septic tanks.
Assist in loading and unloading materials as needed.
Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations at all times.
Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth project execution.
Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
Work on sites under the instruction of Joiners.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Digger Driver or similar role in the construction industry.
Valid driver's license and appropriate certifications to operate heavy machinery.
Strong understanding of safety protocols and procedures.
Excellent handeye coordination and spatial awareness.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
Flexibility to work in various weather conditions and environments.
Physical strength and stamina to handle the demands of the job.

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent

Pay:
£15.00-£20.00 per hour

Expected hours:
No less than 40 per week
