CNC Miller Setter/Operator

Location:
Nottingham

Salary:
£ £15.98 per hour (Dependent on experience)

Contracted Hours:
Between 4pm and 6am Monday to Thursday (39 hour weeks)

The opportunity has a risen for a skilled CNC Miller Setter/Operator (Turning) to join our client in Nottingham.

The Company:

Our client is a successful engineering business, located in the heart of Nottinghamshire, that specialises in in manufacturing of components for Aerospace, Defence, Oil & Gas and Medical markets.

Supported by a large Group who is located in various locations across the UK, our client is an industry heavyweight across the UK, US, Asian and Pacific markets.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

To possess the ability to set/operate HAAS CNC Milling machines.
To possess the ability to set up and run CNC machine tools.
To work with tight tolerances in a wide variety of materials including exotics (Titanium, Hastelloy, Inconel, Copper, Aluminium, etc)
To operate CNC Machinery using Fanuc controls.
Demonstrate the use of Callipers, Verniers and Micrometres
Using Single Spindle/Single Turret Machines
Using Twin Sindle/ Twin Turret Machines
Using Keyence and Vici measurement equipment
Understanding the changing of offsets

About you-Experience

Experience of working in a similar role (1 year) or the aerospace industry would be preferred. Additional training will be provided for this role.
Experience working in a fastpaced environment (ideally production based)
Experience with Fanuc Control
Ability to interpretate technical drawings
Experience machining Metallics
Experience machining Hard Metals and Exotic Metals.
