Shift Pattern/ Working Hours:
Monday-Friday 1x 08:00-16:00, 1x 10:00-18:00


The Role:

Responsible for supporting the day-to-day running of the Warehouse. Liaising with other warehouse operatives, Shift Managers etc, to maintain a smooth flow of work throughout the shift. The role will be working on site projects and any other requirements requested by the business.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Maintain a thorough and detailed knowledge of the copack duties, functions and requirements. Which include, but are not limited to, box assembly, helping to build various packaging products, tape guns, stacking onto pallets, Pallet wrap machine operation and the use of manual pallet trucks or MHE to move stock around, all with adequate training
  • Ensuring orders are prepared on time and with quality and that our general warehouse operations run smoothly, with Quality checks of stock throughout the processes
  • Moving and rearranging stock, either by hand or with heavy lifting equipment
  • Picking of products using digital scanners
  • Maintain a thorough and detailed knowledge of the warehousing duties, functions and requirements
  • Maintain a detailed understanding of legislation and regulation affecting warehouse
  • Maintaining high levels of Health & Safety at all times, reporting any incidents to the appropriate manager
  • Maintaining high levels of housekeeping throughout the site at all times
  • Working to KPI's & SLA's as identified by the customer
  • Able to work in a fastpaced environment

Skills/Experience/Qualifications:


  • Previous Pick and Packing experience
  • FLT Reach, Counterbalance, VNA and PPT Certificates are an advantage but not essential
  • Willing to train and undertake relevant courses
  • Able to prioritise work based on scheduling and available resources
  • Able to demonstrate a high level of attention to detail
  • Must be a team player who is capable of working on their own initiative
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to solve problems
