We are actively looking to secure an Infrastructure Project Manager to join Experis as one of our expert consultants, delivering services to our clients.

Overview

The Infrastructure Project Manager is responsible for the successful delivery of complex Technology Projects within organisation to drive improvement and innovation.

The position will report to one of the Infrastructure Programme Managers and will work acrossall Technology departments to ensure that all teams are focused on the delivery of work.


Accountabilities

  • Work with stakeholders to define and map robust project plans to deliver packages of work at pace, with high quality to meet agreed scoping requirements
  • To build temporary Project teams and to enthuse them to deliver multiple concurrent projects successfully within time, budget and resource constraints
  • Drive and support the execution of project delivery ensuring the effective use of resource (people, time, money) based on a solid plan
  • Lead and coach a wide range of dottedline matrix reports who will be contributing to the project. Ensure the team has clarity and all the information they require in order to execute at pace and with quality
  • Produce accurate, simple and clear reporting on agreed Key Performance Indicators ensuring that risks and issues are surfaced quickly and managed through to clear resolution
  • Must manage risks and issues effectively with the ability to communicate these to a wide stakeholder audience in a clear, concise and simple way

Key Strengths

  • Experience in delivering outcome focused projects within one or more Technology discipline (Infrastructure, Security, Operations, Governance, Data, Delivery)
  • Should excel at managing multiple projects concurrently and have the ability to context switch between them frequently
  • Appreciation and experience of delivering packages of work using different methodologies (Waterfall, Scrum, Kanban etc.)
  • Excellent Stakeholder Engagement and Communications skills
  • Must be able to build and motivate project teams, leveraging their talents to deliver significant projects successfully
  • Must be experienced at managing projects from ideation to closure
  • Should have experience of scoping Projects from ideation through to Business Case identifying the highlevel requirements and key milestones
  • Should be skilled at determining how to tailor communications for senior stakeholders and to manage the message so that the Stakeholders have complete transparency of project progress
  • Experience in cloud computing and migration to the cloud

  • Exposure to managing projects in Datacentre environments with underlying familiarity of all Infrastructure components in an activeactive setting.
  • Advantageous to have a highlevel understanding of Networking and Pipeline delivery across highly virtualised environments
  • Prince, PMP, Scrum or Agile qualifications are an advantage
