About us
Forest Park Roofing provides roofing services to the domestic refurbishment market.

The majority of our work is pitched roofing with tiles and slates and flat roofing with bituminous felts and EPDM.

We also install Velux windows, repair chimneys and replace leadwork. We are a small family firm and have been operating in the New Forest for over 10 years. Most of our work is within the New Forest. We are members of Competent Roofer, the National Federation of Roofing Contractors and Which Trusted Traders. We perform high quality work to building regulations. We are committed to providing a safe working environment for our staff. We retain third party health and safety advisors and provide regular health and safety training.


Duties:

• Drive works van to and from jobs and to collect materials
• Perform general labour tasks as assigned by supervisor
• Assist with loading and unloading materials
• Operate and maintain basic hand tools and equipment
• Clean and maintain work area
• Put tools and equipment away while maintaining a tidy vehicle
• Provide assistance to skilled roofers installing and repairing roofs, flashings, and surfaces
• Remove old roofing materials
• Set ladders, scaffolds, and hoists in place for taking supplies to roofs
• Locate worn or torn areas in roofs
• Hoist roofing materials to roofs, using ropes and pulleys, or carry materials up ladders.
• Perform leak repairs and general maintenance for a variety of roof types
• Clear drains and downpipes and clean gutters, fascias & soffits
• Attach roofing membrane and battens using nails
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines

Qualifications:

• A full UK driving licence is required
• Previous experience in a labourintensive role is a plus
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks for extended periods of time
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
• Basic knowledge of hand tools and equipment

£26,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
