Description
We are a small friendly, company based in Fordingbridge, Hampshire...and did you know the top 3 fastest electric hypercars in the world contain our advanced insulators and thermal management components.
We really take pride in what we do and for a small team that is starting to grow we need like minded, switched on people to help take us to the next level we really hope that's you
We are currently looking for future team members to operate within all areas of the factory, this could be operating our primary CNC machinary...
From 0.012 mm thick polyester for camera lenses on to 2 mm thick rubber for gaskets that house EV batteries.
We utilise technical drawings so you will need to be proficient at reading these and working to very fine tolerances, this will be achieved by you being able to measure your parts produced in our speicalised measuring equipment.
You may be operating laser systems next, either fibre or C02. Again cutting a huge range of materials from fabrics and PTFE to 0.025 mm steel and brass. This is computer controlled so a good knowledge of IT would help but all training is provided and support is available throughout.
There is also an ethos of no question is a silly question and if in doubt ask.
On top of all that we still utilise a variety of 'old school' production equipment from presses and slitting machines.
All training is provided by our existing team. We are close knit and looking forward to growing our team.
A few qualities that we think you will need if you come onboard....
- A really good eye for detail
- The ability to work by yourself and independently (although there's always someone nearby to lend a hand if needed)
- Pride in what you produce and we are always pushing things forward and taking on new types of work.
- Once proficient to really understand your machines and be able to pass that knowledge on to new staff
- We don't need Carol Vorderman but you will need to keep a detailed count of your jobs and be able to handover to another team member, so the ability to keep records will help.
Please do get in touch or send us a message if you are interested You are more than welcome to come in for a tea or coffee and a chat to find out more and have a look around.
