The Digital Consumer Engagement Products portfolio plays a critical role in delivering PMI's Smoke-Free Future.

We are enabling digital services to our consumers and retailers by building platforms to communicate our vision to broader society.

You will be primarily focusing on defining your Digital Product vision, regularly engaging with your customers to gather feedback and understand their needs in order to maximize value.

You will be part of all stages of Digital Product incremental value delivery.

Purpose of this role

  • As a Design Lead you will be responsible for the design of a Digital Product within the Data management domain. You will participate in the Digital Product Software Design Lifecycle from the idea to developing the Digital Product high level technical solution.
  • To enable consumer engagement and analytics communities, the product group's mission is to democratize high quality data for fast, scalable, cost effective:
  • Personalization of consumer engagement at scale
  • Delivery of insights for decision making and optimization
  • You will work with various Customer Data Platform Product Owners to understand the Acceptance Criteria and with engineers to iteratively refine the design and finally to deliver value to the customer.
Your day-to-day

Strategy & Planning

  • Collaborating with technology, product, and business teams to uncover customer and business needs — then translating them into intuitive and engaging digital experiences.
Translating complex ideas into understandable concepts that evolve and enhance the product experience.

  • Maintaining a business / customer value mindset in the build of technical solutions and roadmaps
  • Advocating for the customer through humancentred design methods, including: discovery, research sketch sessions, and user testing.
  • Championing prioritization of design centred product enhancements grounded in research and analysis.
  • Working with partners and teams across various geographies.
  • Embracing and advocating for an experience mindset.
Discovering & Delivering

  • Supporting early product definition by working with partners to facilitate discovery sessions that uncover customer pain points and opportunities.
  • Demonstrating familiarity with design tools to deliver concepts and enable successful collaboration across teams.
  • Driving endtoend product design by:
  • Working with researchers to understand customer needs and define opportunities through usability and empathy studies.
  • Framing problems, defining insights, and designing new methodologies/practices to serve customer needs.
  • Creating process and user flows, wireframes, journey maps, and interaction models, resulting in low to high fidelity prototypes.
  • Planning and facilitating workshops with internal and external partners to align with business needs.
  • Designing within existing — and creating new — standards to contribute to our internal design system, best methodologies, and guidelines.
  • Storytelling and presenting visual concepts to various partners.
  • Creating high fidelity design assets for acceptance, development, and delivery to markets.
