Our client, an established Social Housing provider
, is currently recruiting for a Governance Officer based in Manchester on a permanent basis.


The position is due to start immediately on a full time basis, offers hybrid working, and the salary is the region of £30,000 per annum.


Our client provides services to 250,000 people in a regional area, and prides themselves on providing community and neigbourhood support.


Duties will include (but not limited to):

  • Leading on the provision of outstanding secretarial and administrative services to support Board and Group's Executive Group meetings
  • Delivering effective arrangements for forward planning, including preparing agendas and board packs, minute taking and action tracking
  • Supporting the Group Company Secretary as directed in serviced company administration, such as statutory and regulatory filings and maintaining corporate records, signing and execution of documents and compliance with standing and financial orders
  • Assisting the process for selfassessment of compliance with regulatory standards and adopted codes and specifically committee appraisals and effectiveness reviews
  • Ensuring serviced companies remain legally and regulatorily compliant through the identification of new requirements by conducting proactive horizon scanning

Experience required:


  • Strong administrative skills, gained within a Governance environment
  • ICSA or degree level qualification desirable
