Description

Strategic To produce and own the delivery of the procurement strategy for the non-clinical procurement department To ensure the department attains and maintains standards against any relevant national procurement scheme and develops strategies and workplans to raise the level of quality through successive audits.

Be responsible for development, oversight and refresh of non-clinical procurement policy and service developments.

Leadership To lead the day to day Non-Clinical procurement activities for customer ICBs and South Central and West CSU internal service lines To create and manage the Non-Clinical workplan to ensure sufficient resources are deployed within a set budget and all projects are delivered on time to the agreed cost envelope.

To develop a training programme for the Nonclinical procurement team and contribute to the wider procurement training and development programme.


Operational To provide advice and if necessary, challenge senior staff regarding compliance with current procurement rules and regulations Be responsible for non-clinical procurement responses framework call-offs or other tenders including budget setting, policy response and pricing.

To strategically and dynamically manage sub-contracting relationships internally to enable the CSU to rapidly response to tendering opportunities resulting in increased organisational growth and income #SCWjobs #SCWRecruitment #NHSjobs #NHSRecruitment #recruitment #jobs
