Within Nokia's Fixed Network Business Division, our System Integration and Outside Plant (SIOP) project teams build high-tech optical fiber networks for our customers to provide high-speed digital network services to end users.

Joining our highly specialized, skilled and professional team, you will contribute to an ambitious global trend to upgrade legacy networks, build new high speed optical fiber networks of the future and make fiber based Broadband Access services available to a steadily for fast-growing part of the global population.


What you will learn and contribute to


The Project Administrator - PIA (Physical Infrastructure Access) & As-Built Document Admin reports into the Construction / Project Manager and is responsible for ensuring that all PIA & As Built documentation is completed in accordance with the project requirements with the necessary quality.

As part of our team, you will:

  • Responsible for the set-up and development of processes and strategies for the PIA, As Built and permitting requirements and for the compilation of the PIA & As Built documentation.
  • Support the identification of all possible permits that may be required for the deployment of the fiber network
  • Ensure the PIA, As Built and permitting deliverables are being processed and submitted progressively and timely by the internal and external teams.
  • Review of PIA & As Built documentation following completed works and ensure alignment between the deliverables.
  • Responsible to provide forecasting and actual PIA data to Open Reach (OR)
  • Responsible for placing of orders with OR for network adjustments
  • Responsible to track and report on the progress of OR orders
  • Support with the creation of Notice of Intent (NOI) and/or Whereabouts notices
  • Validate that any variation or change that has impact to cost or schedule is supported by an approved change order
  • Report any variation or change not already supported by an approved change order
  • Manage subcontractor engagement and assure the availability of subcontractor resources needed to fulfil the planned and agreed milestones
  • Identify, report and monitor project risks both within and outside of work domain
  • Ensure usage of all project related tools including OR PIA portal
  • Implement cost control measures on work area
  • Ensure all subcontractor resources have the required level of expertise
  • Produce ad hoc and recurrent reports as required by the Construction / Project Manager
  • Develop and maintain the relationship with key stakeholders within local municipalities, road authorities, utility owners, asset owners (OR) and private landowners for the purpose to obtain relevant permits/ permissions/ authorizations required for the deployment of the network

Your skills and experience

You have:

  • Fluent in English language (written, spoken and reading)
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent through +4 years industry experience

It would be nice if you also had:

  • Previous experience on UK FTTP / FTTH projects
  • Knowledge of Open reach PIA processes, procedures, and accreditation requirements
  • Comprehensive knowledge of CDM regulations
  • SSSTS/SMSTS Qualification desirable
