Join us as an Internal Service Management Team Lead

  • We'll look to you to lead a team on the delivery and oversight of the RBS International internal service portfolio, acting as a contact for key programme sponsors and stakeholders
  • Daytoday, you'll make sure that we meet our contractual agreement and risk obligations by working with the wider heads of our business
  • Thrive in a role where you'll be able to make a farreaching impact through your work and bring a competitive edge to your career profile
  • We're offering a salary starting from £40,920 to £52,040 depending on location and experience

What you'll do:

As an Internal Service Management Team Lead, you'll work with others to validate contractual agreements and, where changes or shortfalls to existing contracts are evident, escalate any issues with recommendations for recovery.

Alongside this, you'll create and review management information to provide oversight, and achieve the delivery of our strategy.

You'll also collaborate with senior management to ensure that all aspects of our internal service management framework are implemented effectively.

Your top priorities will include:

  • Understanding the key offshore regulators' outsourcing policies and guidance notes
  • Ensuring that the internal outsourcing of any activities is completed in line with regulatory requirements

  • Building relationships with stakeholders and service providers, while overcoming resistance through effective communication and feedback mechanisms
  • Making sure that processes operate within budget and providing the best possible outcomes for our business

The skills you'll need:

To be successful in this role, you'll need an understanding of change through tangible business and customer-centric results, experience of third-party management and a track record of delivering to budget.

In addition, you'll need the ability to develop key working relationships with stakeholders, knowledge of the regulators approach to recovery and resolution and the ability to translate our continuity requirements.

Furthermore, you'll need:

  • An understanding of audit and risk frameworks and current business operating models and supporting systems, including structures and key organisation processes and procedures
  • Great communication skills and the ability to influence key stakeholders
  • Experience of leading, motivating and coaching a team to achieve results
  • Knowledge of financial banking products and services
