Description
- Report into the Global Head of ER
- Manage all for ER Partners and hold responsibility for the UK population of circa 900 employees
- Providing exceptional leadership and guidance on ER issues.
- Developing capabilities and individual performance of the team, and encouraging continual learning through coaching.
- Ensuring the prioritisation of team members workload in line with organisational goals.
- Improving ER capability amongst managers and HR partners through training, coaching, partnership and development of tools and processes.
- Leading on complex individual and collective ER issues as needed.
- Diagnosing and supporting interventions required for the continuous improvement of ER processes and policies.
- Reviewing and improving reporting mechanisms for ER cases.
- Utilising ER data to inform decision making and to identify opportunities to drive continuous improvement.
- Role modelling strong case management processes.
- Leading the ER team to review the employee handbook, policies and code of conduct to ensure they are up to date, legally compliant and reflect their culture and ways of working.
- Collaborating with wider HR teams and our Diversity, Equity & Inclusion team on initiatives to enhance employee workplace experience.
- Demonstrating resilience and persistence in the face of adversity or obstacles, encouraging others to do the same.
Profile
- You will be managing an ER team
- Able to navigate within a scale up culture and work in an innovative, fast paced organisation
- Technology focused sector experience would be desirable
- You have substantive UK experience across a breadth of ER topics and understand the importance of the employee experience in these processes.
- You enjoy developing your team members technical skills and competencies and have experience managing small to medium sized teams.
- You have significant change management experience and enjoy leading others through change.
- A skilled influencer with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- An ability to handle difficult conversations, navigate complexities and disagreements and maintain neutrality in conflictual situations.
