A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A HOTEL OPERATIONS INTERN AT THE WESTIN LONDON CITY

What you'll be doing..._

The role is an exciting 12- or 18-month rotational internship development plan that was put together to build the successful hospitality professionals of tomorrow.

If you are looking to build the foundation for a strong career in the hospitality industry this role is for you because:

You will have the opportunity to learn and work under the supervision of experienced leaders in a variety of key operational departments: Food Beverage, Kitchen, Front Office, Spa, Housekeeping.
You will be able to gain knowledge and skills in a newly opened 5* renowned Marriott branded hotel which will serve as a steppingstone for a wellbuilt hospitality career ahead.
You will learn how to provide exceptional high standard guest service.
You will have a dedicated experienced mentor that will help guide you find your career path and provide perspective, motivation, and emotional support along the way.
Along the applied learning you will be offered ongoing accredited learning or even an apprenticeship programme.
Throughout the programme, you will be able to also cross train in an elective nonoperational department Sales Marketing, Finance or Revenue Reservations to strengthen your understanding of the business.
Following the completion of the programme, provided you have been successful throughout your tenure at the hotel, we will review options for a permanent role.

To succeed in the role of
Hotel Operations Intern, you will need the following qualities and skills:

Eager to learn and develop in the hospitality industry and able to receive feedback.
Flexible adaptable to different working conditions hours.
Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively.
Forward thinking promoting new ideas.
Have a positive attitude welcoming manner.
Oral written fluency in English. Additional language will be considered a plus.
