About the role:


The Stoneygate Centre for Empathic Healthcare is a new, dynamic and impactful team directed by Professor Jeremy Howick and embedded within the Leicester Medical School.

The Centre team is expanding to include additional academics and researchers.


A core aim of the Centre is to align with the University of Leicester's strategic theme of delivering research-inspired education.

The Centre has a mission to provide the NHS with the most empathic, compassionate and resilient healthcare practitioners possible, through the development of an evidence-based longitudinal empathy curriculum.


In this exciting new position you will take a leadership role to research, develop, deliver and evaluate a trailblazing wellbeing and resilience ("self-empathy") curriculum for medical and healthcare students.


About you:


You will need to build strong collaborative relationships and work alongside colleagues within the Medical School, School of Healthcare and other relevant partners, playing a key role in the Centre's continued success and future ambitions.
