A Senior Mechanical Design Engineer is required for an established Manufacturing company who are a leading global supplier of Coil Processing Line Solutions to both the steel and aluminium markets.


The Senior Mechanical Design Engineer will give direction to a design team, generating machine design briefs, utilise CAD to produce both 3D models & engineering drawings on the development of new products whilst also working with the team to review andcheck their detailed designs & drawings.

**AsSenior Mechanical Design Engineer
- you will be required to;*
  • Ensure that preparation of assigned detail designs are in accordance with standards
  • Creation of estimated time to complete a specific set of engineering drawings and BOMs
  • Produce progress reports for project and resource status for Leadership team
  • Work cross functionally with engineering & commercial teams to produce equipment designs
  • Development of new products as directed by the Executive Team
  • Production & Review of concept designs/drawings utilising CAD
  • Attend project and design review meetings
**As Senior Mechanical Design Engineer
- you will have;*
  • Degree qualified or equivalent with proven experience in Manufacturing/Industrial Design
  • Experience in CAD, ideally with Solidworks/AutoCAD
  • Good experience in manufacturing system design & development of new products
  • Experience guiding/mentoring within a design team
