The Opportunity


My client is an expanding SaaS business based in the North East of England that is looking for a Head of Operations to join the business.

Having developed successful business management software for the last 10 years, they are now in the process of reaching out to new markets and need a Head of Operations to help support the business on this journey.

This is a new role within the business, so its a great opportunity for you to put your stamp on the role and add value to the business.


Responsibilities:

The Head of Operations will oversee business projects and ensure these are completed on time and within budget.

They also ensure all team members uphold the company's standards throughout each project's development and execution as well as clear communication across all teams.


  • Show commercial acumen for sound financial business development and margin protection.
  • Working with the developers, sales & marketing team and the project manager to drive the product management strategy.
  • Providing first class communications with internal team members and making sure that all are working towards a common goal
  • Report to CEO and sales director weekly.
  • Have a passion for continual personal development, combined with a continually growing domain expertise.
  • Demonstrate high quality strategic thinking in order to engage in the creation of visions, plans and concepts of real value & depth.
  • Foster effective communication and collaboration among different departments to ensure a seamless flow of information and resources.
  • Develop, implement, and manage operational strategies to align with the company's goals and objectives. Continuously evaluate and improve operational processes to increase efficiency and productivity.

Person Specification:

  • You must have had experience of working within a SaaS business.
  • Someone who has a fluid mindset and is open to everyday throwing up new challenges.
  • Excellent problemsolving and decisionmaking abilities.
  • Proficiency in project management and process improvement methodologies.
  • Exceptional analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of SaaS industry trends, compliance, and security standards.

Office Working:


Due to the nature of the role there would be an expectation, certainly in the early stages of the role, to be based in the office.
