Teaching Personnel work in partnership with a coeducational free school located in Chichester, catering for pupils aged 4-19, graded 'GOOD' in all areas by Ofsted at their most recent inspection.

The school are working with Teaching Personnel to build upa pool of cover supervisors to assist with daily cover needs within their secondary school.

As lessons are planned so thoroughly in the absence of usual class teachers, it is the preference of the school to cover leaves of absence with cover supervisors ratherthan fully qualified teachers.


This is a fantastic opportunity for educators with a range of experience to secure regular work with a local school, providing opportunity to familiarise yourself with staff and pupils of the school.

Working as a cover supervisor, you will be supervisingclasses during the absence of a teacher, providing short term cover, and helping the students with their learning assisted by well planned lessons for you to work with.

This is a great opportunity for experienced educators or graduates who are working towardsa career in education to gain school-based experience on a flexible basis.


  • Sports coaches who are experienced in working with young people outside of a school environment.
  • A person who may have experience within the military of prison services, working with challenging behaviour or vulnerable people.
  • An educator who may have schoolbased experience but no QTS or teacher qualification.
  • A teaching assistant or learning support assistant who is keen to further their experience.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
