THE OPPORTUNITY
The ability to work as a cohesive part of our advanced design team is essential. Experience in Alias or 3DS Max as well as Adobe products is important to this role.


MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Creating new designs for all Swift Group products with a focus on 3D molded form components.
  • Exploring new technologies and techniques for development opportunities.
  • Ensuring all new designs are accurate and dimensionally correct.
  • Working within the team to ensure that all designs are manufacturable.
  • Adhering to company and departmental processes and procedures.
  • Developing official documentation where necessary.
  • Adding value to the team by suggesting improvements to products and processes.
  • Providing the rest of the company with expertise in the sector.
  • Participating in and alongside project teams as appropriate.

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Creative Design qualifications to Degree level
  • Automotive exterior design skills
  • Automotive, transportation or architectural interior design skills
  • Good 3D CAD modelling skills using Alias or 3DS Studio Max (minimum 2 years)
  • Good Adobe Photoshop skills
  • Importing and exporting CAD data experience
  • Strong time management skills and planning
  • Reliable, focused and detail orientated
  • Ability to work both independently and cooperatively in a fastpaced environment
