Project Coordinator, Adult Projects

Salary:
FTE £24,423.36 per annum (pro-rata) pay award pending

Responsible to:
Adult Projects Lead

We are looking for a passionate, hardworking and innovative individual to work as a Project Coordinator within our Adult Projects team.

The role will be flexible to support a busy but small team to deliver mental health and wellbeing services to adults in Lancashire.

Through research we know that there is a clear link between mental health and money and our Money & Me project offers financial wellbeing support to people living with a mental health condition.

The support looks at areas such as setting budgets or gaining a deeper understanding of why we may feel the way we do, and we will tailor this towards personal goals.

The Project Coordinator will offer a holistic approach, proactively signpost or refer participants to specialist help for money or mental health support, tailoring this to individual needs.

The service aims to get the best outcomes for people, helping them to take positive steps forward to maintain good wellbeing and mental health now, and in the future.

Our new National Lottery Community Fund funded project aims to support people in Asian and other ethnic minority communities in East Lancashire.

This will focus on raising awareness of mental health and addressing mental health inequalities that exist within these communities, by working with people who live in these areas, as well as community leaders and professionals who offer services for the community.

The post holder will work with people who use our services, delivering one to one and group coaching activities, involving wider stakeholders to deliver a service which provides support to improve the wellbeing of people with mild to moderate mental health condition.

To excel in the role, you will be able to demonstrate how to motivate, inspire and engage a wide range of people and be proactive in your approach.
