My Client is looking for a Trainee HETAS Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis.

You will be helping the lead installer install fires, fireplaces and stoves in to domestic and commercial properties.


This is a great opportunity as after completing on the job training you will be put forward for the HETAS qualification to become a fully qualified engineer.


Job Role:
Trainee Engineer


Salary:
£23,400 - £31,200 per annum


Location:
Berkshire, Hampshire & Oxfordshire


Hours:
Monday - Friday 8am - 4pm + Overtime on occasion.


Duties:


  • Loading the necessary components on to the van each morning
  • Preparing the site on arrival, assisting the head installer during the installation
  • Clearing the site and loading the van
  • Taking photos of the site before and after the installation
  • Unloading the van after the installation
  • Ensuring the above are all cared out adhering to health and safety guidelines

Requirements:


  • General building knowledge and experience is desirable
  • Must be practical and able to work well with your hands
  • Able to stay calm under pressure and still make good decisions
  • Physical fitness and endurance
  • Ability to work at height ie ladders, scaffolding, mobile platforms essential
