Supervisor Position.


Capital Property Maintenance Limited are an established M&E service provider, who are seeking a "
Supervisor" to be based in and around London.

The role is paying up to
£50,000per annum dependent on experience plus exclusive training and development opportunities.

Due to the nature of this position, strong commercial M&E maintenance knowledge and good communication skills is required.


Requirements:


  • Good Knowledge of Pumps, Motors, Cooling towers, Chillers, BMS systems, Lighting, Boilers, Calorifiers, air conditioning (HVAC), plumbing etc.
Excellent knowledge of AHU's, FCU's, Emergency Lighting, L8 monitoring activities, lamping, changing ballasts, taking load readings, General PPM activities.

  • Must have NVQ/C&G qualification OR time served maintenance engineer with minimum 8 years' experience.
  • Good communication skills
  • Previous experience in a corporate/critical environment

Role & Responsibilities:


  • To liaise with engineers onsite to discuss, observe & report on,
  • Site Issues
  • Discuss with engineers any concerns and H&S matters
  • Personal development / Training of onsite operatives
  • To provide onsite technical support for the site operatives
  • To review and check onsite operatives' timesheets and send to office.
  • Undertake annual site audit reports for each contract and submit to management, ensuring that all records are being recorded accurately, all subcontractor reports are in place and assist contract managers to action points raised in a timely manner.
  • To manage the following,
  • Organize and coordinate all extra works, call outs and out of hours works.
  • On call schedule.
  • Annual Leave reviews and approvals
  • Create, plan and schedule in labour resources to ensure all contract attendance is covered.
  • Onsite operatives' morale and employee of the month.
  • To review all out of hours service reports to ensure that the task has been recorded correctly.
  • To manage and assign deliveries to onsite operatives
  • To assist where required with external site audits.
  • To be available to work out of hours when needed, to ensure that out of hours work is completed correctly and on time.
  • To assist management in systems to improve staff morale, productivity, and capability.
  • To fulfil, when necessary, the duties of an onsite operative, due to call outs, sickness, and other occasional staff shortages.
  • Assist management in recruitment.
  • Assist with the production of site condition, dilapidation, and mobilisation reports.
  • To become the engineering H&S representative (Training will be provided if required)
  • To arrange and undertake regular toolbox talks with all onsite operatives.
  • To absorb agreed additional duties as the role develops.
