Job Description:
Phlebotomist

Responsibilities:

Perform venipuncture and collect blood samples from patients
Verify patient information and ensure accurate labeling of specimens
Prepare specimens for laboratory testing and ensure proper storage and transportation
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Follow established protocols and safety guidelines for infection control
Provide excellent customer service to patients and address any concerns or questions

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent
Completion of an accredited phlebotomy training program
Current certification as a phlebotomist (e.g., CPT, PBT, or similar)
Proven experience in performing venipuncture and collecting blood samples
Knowledge of medical terminology and laboratory procedures
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills

Job Types:

Salary:
£13.00 per hour
