Administrative Bookkeeper

Sewing Solutions are keen to employ an experienced book keeper for our fast growing business based in Belfast, 3 minutes from the city centre.
As part of this role you will be working along side the director lending a hand with admin & order management.
Key Responsibilities:
Duties to include but not exclusively:
- Manage debtor control, prepare debtors list
- Manage the Purchase Invoice payments system
- Mange Direct Debits, Standing Orders and Finance Agreements
- Manage the various payment systems and bank reconciliation
- Prepare VAT Returns and PAYE systems
- Operate Business Banking and prepare and enter electronic payments
- Banking of cheques and record all payments received by online banking
- Maintain cash spreadsheets and bank balances reconciling bank daily
- Operate Business Banking and prepare and enter electronic payments
- Manage the payroll systems and pay monthly wages
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to the director
- Organise & Take minutes at various meeting
- Complete trader support, when required
- Take part in all Meetings as necessary
- Manage all areas of administration around HR
- Maintaining all employee records
- Responsible for the issue of Contracts of Employment and ensuring all parties have contracts
- Deal with all personnel wage related queries

Essential:
Knowledge
- Minimum of 4 years administration and bookkeeper experience utilising financial software
Qualifications:
Skills:
- Extensive experience in Quickbooks Accounting Software
- Proficient at operating Payroll systems preferable Brightpay
- Computer Literate
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Good telephone manner
- Good organisational skills
- Full driving licence and access to a vehicle

Salary:
£24,600.00-£27,000.00 per year
