Solution Engineer - Automation Test Engineer
£50,000 - £70,000

Belfast / Remote, GB

Full-time Permanent

My client, a market-leading insurance company is looking for a Solution Engineer/Automation Test Engineer to join their Data & Intelligent Systems (D&IS) Team.

As the Solution/Automation Test Engineer, you will be part of the client's data ecosystem's Chaos Engineering, Performance, and Automation team to move them from a reactive to a proactive stance on reliability engineering, better handle system failures andminimize production issues.

Essential:

Experience automating Performance/Chaos test executions, reporting and monitoring alerts
Support, troubleshoot, and automate test executions on largescale systems using CI/CD pipelines
Experience Setting up GitHub repositories for automation frameworks
Experience with Test Data management or building TDM solutions
Experience conducting POCs to find solutions that decrease MTTD and MTTR;
Strong Experience Testing UI and APIs in automated fashion
Java, Python, Groovy
CI/CD tool(s) such as Jenkins
SQL
API testing tools (SoapUI, Postman)

Responsibilities:

Working closely with development teams, chaos engineers, AI/ML engineers to build automation solutions that enable Chaos Engineering and Chaos Test
Integrating Chaos Test into DevOps strategies;
Providing technical leadership to D&IS technology teams and upstream product teams;
Implementing a series of CI/CD pipelines for Chaos/Performance test cycles.
